Jen started her career in the Australian Public Service working in the Payroll, HR and Financial Management disciplines.

In 1996 Jen worked with Wizard Information Systems heading up the financial systems business consultancy unit. During this time, Jen implemented a number of financial systems installations for Commonwealth Government clients and with the team, provided high level ongoing customer support.

During 2002, Jen set up the ACT office of TechnologyOne. In 2004 she moved to Hobart and took on responsibility for TechnologyOne's Tasmanian office supporting a range of State Government, Local Government and private sector organisations.

In 2008, Jen made the decision to set up her own consultancy company providing support for corporate business systems. Since then, ChartSmart's client base has expanded rapidly. A list of our current clients can be viewed on this site.

Ian EdwardsIan Edwards
Ian has a long background in banking and financial administration. He initially worked with the Bank of Queensland in it's formative stages and subsequent to this had a 12 year career as a Financial Administration officer with the Royal Australian Air Force.

In the late 1980's, he completed his IT qualifications and decided to resign from the RAAF to work as a civilian software engineer.

Since then, Ian has designed and developed many high quality software applications including a nationally based Quality Assurance system for the Department of Veterans' Affairs, land title system for the Queensland Department of Lands, applications to interface with Pathology testing equipment and many more.

His key areas of software expertise are centered around Microsoft products including SQL Server and .Net.

Ian is a commercial pilot holding all the necessary qualifications to work within the aviation industry. ChartSmart are proud supporters of Angel Flight.  Ian is also very proud of his aerial video and photography business 'South Coast Drones'

Sally-Jane Abigail
Sally-Jane joined ChartSmart in May 2017 bringing a wealth of experience as a CFO and business manager in the local government and non-profit sectors.

A qualified Chartered Accountant for 25 years, Sally-Jane is an accomplished and versatile senior manager with excellent leadership skills, strong technical accounting knowledge, and extensive experience in business management and financial management.

She is a highly regarded professional recognised for excellence in strategy development and stakeholder engagement, effectively bridging the gap between finance and business management.

Sally-Jane’s experience in project leadership and change management, with proven results in managing complex projects, driving change, and achieving organisational growth and improved operational efficiency, enables ChartSmart to provide a whole of business approach to financial system implementations. She is also available for management consulting, business process review and documentation, and assistance to CFOs and business managers in strategic planning.

Guy MontgomerieGuy Montgomerie

Guy brings to the company, extensive experience in the management and development of financial management information systems.

In the mid 90's, Guy was the lead consultant for the implementation of a schools financial system in Tasmania. From that point onwards, he has been consistently involved in the support and development of corporate financial systems - In particular focusing on the TechnologyOne suite of products.

He has a diverse range of experience including project management of FMIS implementations and upgrades, undertaking business research studies, chart design and development, system configuration and training, report development and the provision of system support and administration.

He has worked for a wide range of industries including Commonwealth, State and Local Government, manufacturing, banking, health and not for profit organisations.  His experience has been gained in the ACT, SA, WA, Tasmania and New Zealand.

Guy with his wife Catherine are involved in a food aid program in Canberra providing free food to those in the community that need help -

Richard Reye

Richard Reye
Richard is passionate about assisting organisations in using their financial management information system to its full potential.  Graduating from a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and IT in 2000, Richard went straight into a report writing and system accounting role in the not-for-profit sector and continued with these types of roles, mixed with various levels of management and corporate accounting until 2005.

In 2006, Richard was in Papua New Guinea installing a financial system for a church head office, as well as integrating the 12 regional office financials into the head office system.

Richard joined the ACT office of TechnologyOne on his return to Australia in 2008, initailly as a business consultant and then as a pre-sales consultant. During this time, particularly as a pre-sales consultant, Richard was able to gain an in depth knowledge of many of the TechnologyOne modules including Corporate Performance Management, Customer Relationship Management and Asset Management (Projects).

Richard is a full CPA member.  His strengths include training and presentations, report writing, system configuration and solutioning.  His experience has been gained across the east coast of Austalia as well as Papua New Guinea, El Salvador and New Zealand using a number of different financial management information systems with the most recent focus being on the TechnologyOne suite of products.  Richard joined ChartSmart in 2012.

Angela Ryan
Angela brings to the company 17 years of experience in a range of finance roles in local, state and federal Government, as well as the not for profit and private sectors.

Angela completed her Bachelor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Sydney in 1996.  In 2002 she completed her Master's of Professional Accounting and in 2007 she became a member of the Certified Practicing Accountants of Australia after finalising her professional qualifications.

Angela has a wide range of experience including compiling financial statements, financial modeling and forecasting, benchmarking, development of management reports, manuals and procedures.  Angela also has a working knowledge in the areas of audit, governance and compliance and training.

Angela has worked for ChartSmart Consulting for the last 4 years in the areas of FMIS system administration, development, testing and support.

Angela's previous employers include Mid-Western Regional Council where she held the position of Management Accountant, Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency as Systems Accountant and more recently as Financial Accountant at the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.  Angela has also fulfilled other accounting roles with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, Defence, ACT Division of General Practice and the Australian Crime Commission.

Matt Smith
Matt brings a mix of accounting and IT skills to the team having spent close to 10 years working in accounting, systems, consulting and management roles primarily centred around the TechnologyOne suite of products.

Having worked on both the customer and consultant side of ERP software implementations in both the private sector and local, state and federal levels of the public sector, Matt's experience lends itself to assisting a wide variety of organisations achieve their operational goals through the delivery of successful IT projects.

Matt's practical experience combined with a CPA qualification and Masters degrees in both Information Technology and Business Administration, allow him to provide clients with theoretically sound and reality based perspectives on the effective utilisation of IT solutions in business.

Having relocated from Brisbane to Canberra in 2014, Matt and his family are enjoying being part of the Canberra community and are looking forward to a long term future in the ACT. 

Matt joined ChartSmart in 2017 with a view to leverage his technical and project delivery skills in financials, supply chain, budgeting, reporting, system administration and integration solutions to help deliver quality outcomes to ChartSmart's clients.

Lyndon HarrisLyndon Harris
Lyndon is a business systems professional with over forty year's experience in all aspects of managing, supporting and developing financial management information systems.  With a double degree in Business and Information Technology supported by a professional accounting qualification, he is able to convey technical information to both finance and non-finance professionals.

His work experience spans a broad sprectrum of industries including Not-for-Profit, Commercial and Australian Commonwealth Government. Prior to joing the APS in 2010, Lyndon worked for TechnologyOne as their ACT Consulting Director.  Throughout his career, Lyndon as consistently worked with teams to develop projects from concept to delivery and operation.

Lyndon joined ChartSmart in 2016 and is passionate about process improvement and building systems that people enjoy using. He is described by customers and peers as creative, dedicated and trustworthy.

Daryl Grimwood
Daryl joined ChartSmart in 2013, bringing a wealth of experience in systems development, project management and a passion for delivering high quality IT solutions.

He commenced his working life as a bank clerk in Melbourne and was soon lured into an exciting career in the Royal Australian Air Force. He served as a financial accounting clerk for a number of years before commencing studies in IT and soon found himself developing HR and Financial Systems.

After serving for almost 15 years, he decided to leave the RAAF and further his opportunities as an IT professional. He has since worked for a number of IT companies focusing on applications development and systems integration. His key skills are project, program, professional services and account management, whilst still taking an active interest in system design and development.

In recent years he has had the opportunity to project manage a number of high profile Federal Government projects.

Daryl was an early adopter of web development, and what started as a rather simple idea and an opportunity to develop a web site, became the creation of the Internet Virtual Football League ( web site in late 1996. Whilst nowadays the iVFL competes with the numerous AFL based fantasy football web sites, it is still in operation and continues to provide him with the opportunity to develop software.

Jay Dyke

Jay Dyke
Jay has vast office administration experience in the Banking, Financial Services, Legal, Aged Care and Local Government sectors.

Her role with ChartSmart is to provide office administration including payroll, accounts receivable and scheduling of consultants. 

Jay is also involved in the testing of any software developed for our clients and ensuring that the accuracy and quality of migrated data from legacy systems to bespoke applications delivered by ChartSmart is maintained.
